The certificate covers the manufacture and installation of IsoBoard® Over Rafter and Truss Insulation in new or renovated buildings of all occupancy classes (SANS 10400: Table 1 of regulation A (20) (1)) in all areas of South Africa.
This certificate and Agrément South Africa’s assessment apply only to IsoBoard® Over Rafter and Truss Insulation that is manufactured and installed as described and illustrated in this certificate, and where the terms and conditions of certification are complied with.
The certificate specifically excludes the use of IsoBoard® Over Rafter and Truss Insulation when:
· used in conjunction with any other facing material, whether combustible or non-combustible
· battens or purlins are fixed to rafters or trusses using nails
· when insulation thickness exceeds 40 mm.
Such circumstances are outside the scope of the assessment and as such must be the subject of further testing.
The Sheerflex Coating System is a two-coat application for use in all regions of South Africa for all types of occupancy classifications (SANS 10400: Table 1 of Regulations A (20) (1)), on sound, suitably prepared, external and internal surfaces as follows:
· sand-cement plaster
· sand-cement bagged finishes
· cast in-situ concrete/ precast concrete
· the above surfaces previously painted with polyvinyl acetate (PVA) paint
· prepared gypsum and fibre cement boards
The Sheerflex Coating System is a two coat ready-to-use, water-based flexible acrylic emulsion wall coating. It is available in a range of colours and packaged in 5 litre and 20 litre containers. It is thoroughly stirred on site before application. It is applied using a block brush or a lamb’s wool roller.
This certificate and Agrément South Africa’s assessment apply only to the Sheerflex Coating System manufactured by the certificate holder and applied by trained applicators to suitably prepared surfaces as described and illustrated in this certificate, and where terms and conditions of certification are adhered to.
The certificate covers the use of the Compressed Earth block Building System in all areas of South Africa for the erection of single buildings for occupancy classes set out below (SANS 10400: Table 1 of Regulation A (20) (1)):
· detached domestic residences and dwelling houses and related outbuildings (H3 and H4)
This certificate and Agrément South Africa’s assessment apply only to Compressed Earth Blocks Building System buildings that are designed, manufactured and erected as described and illustrated in this certificate, and where the terms and conditions of certification are complied with.
The certificate covers the use of the Eco-construction Building System in all areas of South Africa for the erection of single-storey buildings for occupancy classes set out below (SANS 10400: Table 1 of Regulation A (20) (1)):
· place of instruction (A3)
· moderate and low-risk commercial service buildings (B2 and B3)
· offices (G1)
· hotel (H1)
· domestic residence (H3)
· dwelling house (H4)
· moderate risk storage (J2)
· low risk storage (J3)
This certificate and Agrément South Africa’s assessment apply only to Eco-Construction Building System buildings that are designed and erected as described and illustrated in this certificate, and where the terms and conditions of certification are complied with.
The certificate covers the use of Amsa’s Alternative Building System in all areas of South Africa for the erection of single storey buildings for the uses set out below (SANS 10400: Table 1 of Regulation A(20)(1):
· places of instruction (A3)
· moderate risk commercial services (B2)
· low risk commercial services (B3)
· offices and clinics (G1)
· dormitories and hostels (H2)
· domestic residence (H3)
· dwelling house and related out buildings (H4)
This certificate and Agrément South Africa’s assessment apply only to Amsa’s Alternative Building System that is designed, manufactured and erected as described and illustrated in this certificate, and where the terms and conditions of certification are complied with.
